Rotary International Theme 2003-2004 - Lend a Hand

August 16, 2003

On September 5,6,7 we will participate once again as a club in the Oyster Festival. This year however it will be a little different. Instead of the usual Belgian Waffles and Ice Cream we have partnered with the Ash Creek Saloon and will be serving their well known barbecue ribs and chicken.

Since this is the firdt year for us we will suffer some learning pains but are quite sure that it will help the club raise the funds needed to do continue in the work of Rotary.

We need voluntereerrs to wotk over thw weekend. You can volunteer for 1 shift, 2 shifts or more and friends and family members that would like to participate with us are very welcome. The shifts are;

1. Thursday am    Set up

2. Thursday evening coleslaw packing at Ash Creek

3. Friday am set up

4. Friday 5.00pm to 11.00pm

5. Saturday 10.00am to 12noon

6. Saturday 12.00noon to 5.00pm

7. Saturday 5.00pm to 11.00pm

8. Sunday 10.000am to 12noon

9. Sunday 12.00noon to 5.00pm

10 Sunday 5.00pm to 9.00pm

11. Monday am tear down
