Rotary International Theme 2004-2005 - Celebrate Rotary - 100 Years

This afternoon, the Rotary Club of Norwalk luncheon was hosted by the Culinary Arts Institute at Norwalk Community College. We were served a wonderful lunch and given an overview of the program by Jeff Trombetta.

Erik gave us an update on our dictionary project for the city's third graders. We have ordered 1,000 books that we will distibute to all of the students in our public and private schools. We will need to gather at Erik's office on Main St. to apply our Rotary stickers to the inside front cover.

Our Community Service Award committee will be meetng very soon to begin planning the 2006 event. Check with Mary Roman for dates. Now that the Mayors Ball is over, Mary has so much free time on her hands we have to keep her busy.
